JanetTAYLORnée Atkins Aged 46 Recently married to Mark her long-time partner during her final illness in the Royal Papworth Hospital. She had overcome so many health problems during her life including a heart/lung transplant in 2000. She celebrated her 'second' life with dog rescue and rehoming, always dear to her, befriending and helping many people and championing causes. She served for many years as Patient Governor of the Royal Papworth Hospital, had helped plan the new hospital and developed care plans through her own experiences. She will be remembered by many as a loving, staunch, loyal and helpful friend. Janet's funeral is a graveside service to take place at St Lawrence Church, Ardeley at 2-30pm on 6th September. All friends welcome, floral tributes or donations to Royal Papworth Hospital on the day. All enquiries to Austin's Tel: 01438 316623.

As we now live in Norfolk, we have only just heard about Janet. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. What a lovely, brave lady she was with such a big heart. Thank you Janet for placing our beautiful rescue dog, Reggie with us 11 years ago.
RIP lovely lady.
